To Be or Not To Be (Helpful)
VERSE
God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
Hebrews 6:10
INTRO / DISCUSSION
After amazing and powerful weekends like the one we just had as a church. It’s hard for us to imagine how much actual change took place, thousands of women arrived at our church and we have to remember that many of them will be marked by what God has done. How many of us have been transformed in our services, encounters, in Redoma or SYA conference?
One thing is going to these events and receiving for yourself. It’s another to bring others along with you and witness their lives change forever.
God will never forget your work and the love that you have shown him AND his people.
We often think that doing things for God is separate from doing it for people. But Jesus quickly corrects that mindset.
When did we ever see you hungry and feed you, thirsty and give you a drink? And when did we ever see you sick or in prison and come to you?’ Then the King will say, ‘I’m telling the solemn truth: Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me—you did it to me.’
Matthew 25:37-40
There are people suffering all around us, it’s our responsibility to help others. Your friends, neighbors, people you’ve been forgetting to invite to group.
