I'm Not Ashamed

VERSE

2 Timothy 1:8

So never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord. And don’t be ashamed of me, either, even though I’m in prison for him. With the strength God gives you, be ready to suffer with me for the sake of the Good News.

Intro

In life just like all the Apostle’s we will be in situations where our faith will be tested and people will try to put you to shame for believing in Jesus.

The other day an old friend from high school (that is not Christian) asked me the question if I ever get tired of speaking about God.  Obviously, my answer was NEVER (because it’s the truth, I LOVE JESUS and I talk about him 24/7).  Now, that question that my old high school friend asked me reminded me of 2 Timothy 1:8. This verse is a reminder that we will go through situations where the enemy will try to put us down or to make us feel ashamed of believing in Jesus and preaching the Gospel.

In those moments always remember to not be ashamed about the Lord. As you know the world is changing every day and the situation gets uglier by the day. But remember WE have the answer and the ANSWER IS JESUS.

If want to see your family change? Tell them about Jesus.

If want your friend’s life to be transformed? Tell them there is freedom and a new life in Jesus.

Remind yourself always from where the lord took you out from, share with them your testimony, and don’t allow anything to shame you for serving Christ.

At the end, He is what really matters and Jesus is the way the truth and the life...(John 14:6).

Discussion

Has anyone questioned your faith?

Are you ashamed of being Christian?

If someone would ask you why you believe in Christ, what would be your answer?

Prayer

Pray for God to use you at all time to preach about his Gospel.

Do salvation prayer.

Ask the Lord to put in your mind (write them down after) people for you to speak about Him.
