The Fight is Fixed

VERSE

Romans 8:31-32

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 

32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

INTRO

The fight is fixed is about living life while knowing that we have obtained the victory.

In Romans 8, it speaks about God sending his own son and how Jesus condemned sin and overcame death. No matter the tribulation, the word tells us that you are living in victory due to the fact that Jesus paid the price so we do not have a mind governed by flesh because it is death but when our mind changes with the spirit it takes in life and peace. In romans 8:7 it specifies how important your mentality is to god.

PREACHING

1. Are we living in victory? Romans 8:5/ Romans 8:12

- Are your actions backing up your faith?

- Is your lifestyle influenced by the gospel?

2. Do we have the mentality of victory? Romans 8:7/John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

- Are you feeding yourself the right information?

-  Have you felt at peace when faced with troubles?

3. Are you willing to withstand the fight?

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

-        Patience is a big factor in waiting on God’s timing and not ours

-        Do you trust god knowing it will all end in his glory?

-        How can you have that shift of mentality that helps you understand you’re in victory?

-        Has tribulation ever made you feel like you can’t win?

-        Pray for assurance and stronger faith and dependency in God.
